Australia, brisbane. Had a domestic argument with my husband and a neighbour phoned the police.?
Was only a minor argument when he came home drunk and was very loud, a neighbour called the police because of all the yelling. The police took all the names and ages of my children i was just wondering why would they do that, do they pass on infomation to child services? We look after our children properly, the house is clean and we always feed them right, im just wondering why would they ask 4 that info?
Just routine, & to cover themselves if something happened to the children later on that night, say they got hurt and went to hospital than they would know that the children were present during a domestic and that the injuries could have been a result of that. I would not worry about police recording the names in this matter, child services will not be informed unless the Police felt that the children were in danger.
