For upholstery we use a 9 step process that guarantees the highest standards of work.
We offer the addition of applying a stain guard / scotch guard protector.
1 - PRE INSPECTION
Your upholstery is tested for fibre type and what way it is made. Soiling & stains are assessed so the correct solutions can be used. The condition & any pre existing damage are checked.
3 – VACUUM
Before cleaning your upholstery a commercial grade vacuum is used to remove dry soiling. This makes the clean through and more effective
4 - SPOT & STAIN REMOVAL
Any spots or stains like tea, coffee, make up, wine etc are treated and removed first.
5 - PRE SPRAY
The correct cleaning solution for your upholstery fabric type & soiling will be selected and sprayed on the carpet.
6 – AGITATION
Agitation is the physical act of scrubbing the cleaning solution into your furniture. This is done with a specialised upholstery brush. This ensures the cleaning solution is thoroughly scrubbed into your upholstery and breaks down the soils.
7 – HOT WATER EXTRACTION
A hot water extraction machine is used to spray hot water onto your upholstery and extract it back out using 2 high spec vaccum motors. Appropriate water pressure is selected and multiple dry passes to ensure no excess water is left in your suite.
8 – POST CLEAN GROOM
Your upholstery is groomed to reset the pile leaving the pile uniform and all lying in the same direction.
9- Forced drying
Air movers are used to speed dry your upholstery. Most will be dry before leaving your house.
Following these steps ensures the best possible results for you and your property. If you have any questions about any step of the process, equipment used or any other query please feel free to get in touch.
